Domino is an All-Wales Fire and Rescue Service Road Safety Presentation. The Fire and Rescue Service will deliver this lesson to students which shows the consequences of Road Traffic Collisions can have on family and friends. ‘One collision impacts the lives of many people’.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to be a safer passenger and driver and to avoid ‘irresponsible behaviour’ whilst travelling in a vehicle. Driving is a positive, useful skill which will enrich the lives of young people however individuals must accept the responsibility that comes with it.
The presentation is aimed at young people between 15 – 25. Road Traffic Collisions are the biggest killer of young people in this age bracket. Although young people between 15 - 16 are not legally allowed to drive, they are often passengers in cars with older peers and siblings. This presentation is suitable for students 15 years old or older due to the nature of the graphics and videos used. The presentation is available in English and Welsh.
